셀수있는 명사(가산 명사)와 셀수없는 명사(불가산 명사)의 차이점

	셀수있는 명사(가산명사 COUNT NOUNS)	셀수없는 명사(불가산명사 NON-COUNT NOUNS)
단수형	a pen one pen	money some money a great deal of money a little money much money little money

	단수형일때 a/an 또는 one과 같이 사용한다. 복수형일때 보통 뒤에 s 또는 es가 붙는다.	사용시 a/an 또는 one과 같이 사용하지 않는다. 복수형이 없다.

 

 

 

예외로, 셀수있는 명사(가산 명사) 중에 복수형으로 다른 형태로 표현되는 것이 있다.

예외로, 셀수없는 명사(불가산 명사) 중에 그 뜻이 의미하는 것에 따라 단수형으로 a/an과 복수형으로 s/es 과 함께 표현될 수 있다.

Certain foods must be avoided by people who have heart disease. (특정 food)

 

I like most fruit. (fruit 일반적인 의미)
